My name is Rahil, and I am the founder and owner of Lohtu-hautaus Tampere branch. I am half Finnish and half Lebanese, and through my cultural background I have gained extensive knowledge and understanding of funeral traditions across different religious communities, as well as non-religious ceremonies.
In autumn 2025, I began my funeral director training at Lohtu Academy and graduated in December 2025. I will also begin my training as a death doula in early 2026.
I have professional experience in both the healthcare sector and the field of business, having worked in various supervisory and leadership roles. Entrepreneurship is deeply rooted in my life, as both of my parents are entrepreneurs.
I have been drawn to the funeral industry from a young age, and I am now grateful to be able to pursue my dream profession while supporting and helping people during some of the most important moments of their lives.

Through my background, I have acquired extensive knowledge and understanding of funeral traditions across various religious denominations, as well as secular funeral services. In autumn 2025, I completed formal training as a funeral director and graduated in December 2025.
I am a highly people-oriented individual and place great value on meaningful interpersonal interaction. Supporting and helping others is particularly important to me. Within the funeral profession, this human-centered approach is essential, and I am committed to delivering it with care and professionalism.
